Surfing, a childhood memory.
I met up with my buddies ‘n we went down to the shore
To catch some good waves and kill the bore
When we got there it was kinda’ late
The sharks were all out there waiting for bait

Interwebs!

Top of the morning to ya, today will be a bit different in terms of posting. First, gonna talk about the dreaded tumblr fad, then post some interesting pics from tumblr that i actually thought were kinda cool/related to how me or the average person thinks?! Awesome shit i know, lez go.

Right so, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and MySpace. These are prob the main social networking/blog utilities available to us today. The biggest one, most prolly being Facebook with all the millions of people worldwide behind it, using it every day.. Heck they even made a movie! I put the line thru that cuz I personally thought the movie sucked, anyways.. Twitter is cool for keeping up to date with what’s going on, the 140~ character limit is a real bitch but at the same time a life saver - it lets me get the latest news and titbits from errywhere in just a few short sentences opposed to having to read an entire article online about it some where else?! Epic I know right ^^, MySpace as far as I know and care, is d.e.a.d and has been for a long time I believe? I remember when I was like 15 or 16 and thought of starting one but it was all just so messy and ugly, never really took a liking to it hehe. Now, this one is interesting and I’ve saved it to last for a reason - Tumblr.

I dunno really what the deal with tumblr is, it’s a personal image board mixed with a blog mixed with Twitter? Amirite? So therefore it must be a ...plog? or something along those lines? Help me out here if u know oh mighty interwebz! The thing is, a couple of people i know have tumblr, and through that i always find some really interesting pictures there. Where do you people get these pictures haha? I know you all doing the retumbl thing, i.e. retweet, but then the originals, where’d they come from? If I were to Google one of those pics i most prolly wouldn’t find them, especially the ones with the quirky little sayings etc..

A friend of mine has been pushing me to get tumblr, I’m not convinced yet though. Looks as if you can have a pretty sweet looking layout, and pretty much customize it to exactly what you want. Sounds promising enough.. I've found a couple of cool tumblr pages already, just randomly browsing. Some made by famous people and others that just spew out awesome looking pictures or pictures you can really relate to.. I really dunno what to do, would be cool. Feels like at least now, I’m in that kinda mind space (lol myspace? :P) to retumbl half the stuff that i see because, well, the fact is i can actaulyl relate to it haha? Sounds weird, makes me feel kinda, chic, and so average in a way but its kinda true?! Hmm wat do.

I once saw a pic somewhere on someone’s tumblr where there was a text, it went something like; Facebook: Find out you have nothing in common with your friends. Tumblr: Find out there are people feeling exactly like you all over the world.

Aaaand, are we sposed to take the things posted on tumblr literally? Like, a lot of the posts are a picture with some text on it, or a text message or even just something someone had written in notepad. How is one supposed to interpret those kinda images? Does one simply retumbl because one thinks its cool or smart or because we actually relate to it? Or are we trying to get a message across and prove a point to some one? Sigh, the dilemmas of modern day communication, aka social networking. It's so hard to find true emotion in anything that is posted these days..

God dammit its so cold outside. I'm sitting at McDonald's hiding from the cold for my bus which comes in 20min. Just been out in town, the sky was crystal clear blue - easily a 25 degree day if it had been real summer.. checking the temp earlier and now, it barely even reached 20 today argh! Lame.

Don't have much to say, except that I met that friend, anonymous, in town today. I gotta say it was pretty different. Never really Hung out with this person one on one but I decided to it anyways, was interesting hehe. We just sat and talked mostly, about nothing at all really. Or well theoretically about something duh, but it was still the same subjects pretty much. Not that its a bad thing, not at all just felt like noting that haha.

Being with anon was cool, haven't really had too much female contact in general lately so twas much appreciated. Discussing various things like money situations, travelling, moving, life outside of Sweden etc. Getting a different persons point of view for once was surprisingly.. pleasant :D

Towards the end it was surprisingly sad to see them taking the train but who knows when we may see each other again hehe :D

As we all know, the other day MTV had their annual Video Music Awards, or dem VMA's. A bunch of really uninteresting things happened, like Beyonce announcing a child. So what who cares lol everyone has kids eventually.. What does it matter? What a way to steal the show, bitch. Either way, Wiz Khalifa didn't manage to win this years best new artist or whatever it was, only Tyler the Creator did. Tbh i hadn't even heard of him until he actually won something at the VMA's. How does this happen haha? I know im not that behind on the music scene.. at least not the scene that both of them are doing atm.

His most famous song is prob this one called Yonkers - which frankly, isn't even a song if u ask me. Sure if has a sick bass line with some nice drops and stuff, good beat etc etc but it's not really him singing? He isn't even really rapping.. He just kinda talks really slow, dark and monotone to the mic. Nothing too special I think Wiz should have one due to the simple fact that he has so much more variety. Maybe not in subjects, since most of his songs revolve around smoking weed and Taylor Gang, but come on? Tyler is just so.. bland.

One song i do like by him, or not even by him its by the Game, featuring Lil Wayne and Tyler, is called Martians vs. Goblins. It's aiight, never been a big fan of Lil Wayne but the Game makes alright stuff. This collaboration worked pretty decent I thought hehe.

I'm so tired. i got into bed at 2.30 tired and chilled as fuaaark, Friday didnt seem to get the better of us last night, thank god. apparently i fell asleep sitting upright to the TV, as i woke up sitting and the TV was on with sounds and stuff?! looked at the clock and it was 5.07, was really confused haha made my massive pillow fort into a sleeping "zone" and passed out. next thing i know my dad comes in at 10.30 to wake me up, AGAIN, telling me i gotta go to the store with my mom.. we drove there at least but i felt sick as shit on the way there. sucks not getting enough sleep haha bajs.

Was in town allllllll day yesterday running around looking for jeans for T, i suggested coloring her jeans to black? she didn't agree and thought that was a waste of time, i was just suggesting? :P hung out for the day, had the nastiest burger from burger king yesterday.. think my appreciation for fast food has some how diminished from being on this diet. That's a good thing tho i would imagine.. except MC eats so much fucking junk food i saw it more as a handicap yesterday.

Watched this last night, Horrible Bosses with some peeopls, was actually pretty entertaining. Maybe one of the funnier movies i've seen lately. Damn i gotta say Aniston is pretty hot in this one, and so is Julia Bowen, if anyone remembers her from Weeds? The mom that Silas is messing around with, owns the bakery? ^^ Watch it!

Doctors twice in a row..

So!
Woke up today when my dad came into the room, as usual, at a really early time asking when i was going to the doctors again. He always seems to this, so annoying?! The thing is, i'm pretty sure he knows when i'm going, he just likes to get me up early for no reason lol. So fail hahah anyways..

Was out and about today in town, went to see an old work mate who is now a personal trainer at one of the gym chains here in Stockholm, SATS. He seems to be doing okay, although he says the business is quite tough seeing as one has to market oneself. Also there seems to be some sorta influx of PT's in Stockholm atm, making it even more difficult to find clients.

Speaking of PT's, there is a really famous one who trains a few people at my gym. I'm not gonna mention names but her name starts with H. She is very well established within the fitness world, has a great body and has won quite a few contests in both SM and abroad, in the US and stuff like that. Anyways, i was training the other day and saw her instructing a a guy on bench press. He had the worst form i had seen in a long time. The PT was just standing there, watching him do reps with really shit form. The problem is he can really fuck up his shoulders if he doesn't retract properly - something i was doing for several years before learning the correct technique.. So, a world famous PT just standing there getting money to basically tell some guy how to lift weights wrong? Wheres the sense in that.. I understand the logic, from her side, but not from his side. Guess he doesn't know better hence the help from a PT hehe..

One thing i did realize tho, is that the PT could be benefiting from this under the table. If she doesn't coach hi properly and gets an injury, she will then get more money from him when he does his rehab programme.. amirite? Hmm sneaky business here with personal trainers..

Seems like its all a sneaky and lucrative world out there! Lol just left this blog post open for more than an hour.. so kinda lost my point.
